【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoverspoly(vinylchloride)(PVC)flexiblesheetingwhichisusedwithoutmastic,bedding,orcoatingforconstructionofconcealedwater-containment-membranesinapplicationswherethereispotentialforcostlysecondarydamagefromwaterleakageandverylong-termreliableperformanceisessential.Examplesarefountains,pools,planters,showerandsafepans,tiletubs,orsimilarwetinstallationswherethemembraneisinaccessibleoncetheconstructioniscomplete.Includedarerequirementsformaterialsandsheeting,testmethods,workmanshipcriteria,andmethodsofmarking.RecycledmaterialsmaybeusedinthisproductinaccordancewiththerequirementsinSection5.Thetestsareintendedtoensurequalityandperformanceandarenotintendedfordesignpurposes.Testshavebeenselectedtobeconductedprimarilywithliquidsthatsimulatetheenvironmenttowhichthemembranewillbesubjectedduringactualuse.Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverwater-containmentmembranesexposedtoultravioletlight.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section13,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
