【摘要】:ThistestmethodisdesignedtomeasurethepHofadistilled-waterextractofwetblue.Thisisconsideredtobeameasureoftheacidityoralkalinityofthewetblue.Excessiveacidityoralkalinitymayhaveadeleteriouseffectontheagingcharacteristicsofwetblueandtheleathermadefromit.Thistestmethodissuitablefordevelopment,control,andserviceevaluationofwetblue.1.1ThistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthepHofalltypesofwetblueandwetwhite.1.2ForpHofwetwhite,theprocedureisidentical,substitutewetwhiteforwetblueinthestandardmethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
