【摘要】:1.1Thispracticesummarizeswell-known,generallypracticalmethodsforproducingadherentelectrodepositsofnickelonnickel.1.2Electrodepositsofnickelonnickelareproduced,forexample,toimprovetheperformanceofdecorativecoatings,toreclaimelectroplatedpartsthataredefective,andtoresumenickelelectroplatingafterinterruptionsinprocessing.Interruptionsmaybedeliberate,forexample,tomachinetheelectrodepositatanintermediatestageintheelectrodepositionofthicknickelcoatings.Theinterruptionsmaybeunintentional,forexample,resultingfromequipmentandpowerfailures.1.3Toensuregoodadhesionofnickeltonickel,precautionsshouldbetakentoavoidbiopolareffectsduringnickelelectroplating.Thisisofparticularimportanceinreturn-typeautomaticplatingmachineswhereonerackfollowsanotherrackclosely.Bipolareffectscanbeavoidedbymakingtherackscathodicwhiletheyareenteringorleavingthenickeltank.Separatecurrentcontrolonentryandexitstationsisdesirable.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
