【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesdimensional,structuralandenvironmentalrequirementsfor2,44m(8ft)widepalletstobeusedinfreightver-sionsofhigh-capacityfixed-wingaircraft,intendedtobecompatiblewiththe2,44m×2,44m(8ft×8ft)cross-sectioncontainersdescribedinISO8323.PalletnetstobeusedinconjunctionwiththesepalletsaredescribedinISO4115.ThisInternationalStandardestablishesthreeclassesofpallet:—TypeA,air-onlypallets;—TypeB,air/landpallets;—TypeC,adapterpallets.Palletshaveanominalwidthof2,44m(8ft)andnominallengthsof3m,5m,6m,9mand12m(10ft,16ft,20ft,30ftand40ft).Air-onlypallets(TypeA)willnormallybehandledonaircraftequivalentrollerconveyingsystemsand/oronsimilarlyequippedancillarygroundhandlingdevices.The5m(16ft)palletistobeusedonlywiththistype.Air/landpallets(TypeB)aresuitableforair/landhandlingandtransportsystems.Supplementaryre-quirementsfortypeBpalletsarefoundin5.5.1.Air-adapterpallets(TypeC)areusedtoadapt2,44m×2,44m(8ft×8ft)surface-modeonlycon-tainers(seeISO1496-1)forairtransport.Supple-mentaryrequirementsfortheTypeCversionarefoundin5.5.2.NOTE1Useoftheadapterpalletwithsurface-modeonly2,44m×2,44m(8ft×8ft)containersmayrequireuniformloaddistributiononthebasecrossmembersofthesecontainersforcarriageoncertainaircraft.Theair-craftapprovedweightandbalancemanualshouldbere-ferredtoforloadabilityproceduresand/orlimitations.
