【摘要】:Thisguideprovidesamethodologyforevaluatingthepredictivecapabilitiesofafiremodelforaspecificuse.Theintentistocoverthewholerangeofdeterministicnumericalmodelswhichmightbeusedinevaluatingtheeffectsoffiresinandonstructures.Themethodologyispresentedintermsoffourareasofevaluation:Definingthemodelandscenariosforwhichtheevaluationistobeconducted,Verifyingtheappropriatenessofthetheoreticalbasisandassumptionsusedinthemodel,Verifyingthemathematicalandnumericalrobustnessofthemodel,andQuantifyingtheuncertaintyandaccuracyofthemodelresultsinpredictingofthecourseofeventsinsimilarfirescenarios.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.ThisguideassumesunderstandingoftheuseandlimitationsofthemodelunderanalysisasdetailedinGuideE1895.Thisfirestandardcannotbeusedtoprovidequantitativemeasures.
