【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversrequirements,testmethods,andmethodsofmarkingforcrosslinkedpolyethyleneplastichot-andcold-waterdistributionsystemscomponentsmadeinonestandarddimensionratioandintendedfor100psi(0.69MPa)waterserviceuptoandincludingamaximumworkingtemperatureof180?F(82?C).Componentsarecomprisedoftubingandfittings.Requirementsandtestmethodsareincludedformaterials,workmanship,dimensionsandtolerances,burstpressure,sustainedpressure,excessivetemperatureandpressure,temperaturecyclingtests,andbendstrength.Alsoincludedaretestsrelatedtosystemmalfunctions.Thecomponentscoveredbythisspecificationareintendedforuseinresidentialandcommercial,hotandcold,potablewaterdistributionsystemsaswellassealedcentralheating,includingunder-floorheatingsystems.Thetextofthisspecificationreferencesnotes,footnotes,andappendixeswhichprovideexplanatorymaterial.Thesenotesandfootnotes(excludingthoseintablesandfigures)shallnotbeconsideredasrequirementsofthespecification.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesstatedinparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.Note1-SuggestedhydrostaticdesignstressesandhydrostaticpressureratingsfortubingandfittingsarelistedinAppendixX1.Design,assembly,andinstallationconsiderationsarediscussedinAppendixX2.Anoptionalperformancequalificationandanin-plantqualitycontrolprogramarerecommendedinAppendixX3.Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriort
